| Cross-Training Course Schedule Thursday, April 29: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Classroom; 6:00-9:00 PM Hands-on and Friday, April 30: 8:00 11:00 AM; 5:30 PM Mock Demonstration (Open to all attendees) • Four-hour classroom of towing discipline that includes rigging, attachments, understanding and overcoming resistance, and weight estimations. • Four-hour classroom of firefighter’s discipline that includes stabilization, first responder tact, and Incident Command. • Eight-hour hands-on field training. Students will do rigging, secure attachments, hydraulic tool usage, try the latest techniques of cutting and dash rolling. Every student will experience hands on in every area of topics presented. • Two-hour Mock Emergency Recovery Demonstration is actual final exam; a full blown mock incident with self-critique of procedures, methods and tools used.
