The American Towman Academy is focused on presenting issues and ideas in a series of seminars to assist the tow boss in achieving a more profitable towing and recovery business.

Bringing to the forefront the proper safety procedures in a variety of heavy-duty recovery incidents is the focus of a series of classroom seminars featuring Tom Luciano of Miller Industries. Other top speakers include
“Tow Dr.” DJ Harrington, Al Stoeberl of SSCS, and Paul Stevenson of
Copart Auto Auctions. Sessions run Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday morning.
Live Demonsrations will be conducted on the Show Floor!

CROSS-TRAINING FOR FIRST RESPONDERS

This is an advance vehicle cross-training course designed for experienced professional emergency workers from fire, rescue,and tow services to meet requirements of NFPA Operations and Technician Level Certification. Course includes incident command management and vehicle extrication with 18 hours of classroom and hands-on training. This training can help save lives and open roadways quicker than ever thought of before.

Training features a Mock Emergency Recovery Demonstration with Helicopter Rescue on Friday, April 30, at 5:30 pm. Instructors are industry experts from towing, firefighting and law enforcement.
