The Breakdown: Tow Bosses in the Southwest
With Texas being the heart of the southwestern market with three of the largest metropolitan areas in the country– Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio – Tow Expo Int'l is positioned to deliver an audience comprised of towers not only from the Lone Star State, but also the key states of Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Arizona. The average tow operator in these areas has eight trucks in his fleet with 65% being flatbeds and 35% wreckers/wheel lifts. Over 20% also operate heavy-duty wreckers and a growing number are purchasing the popular workhorse proven rotators. Tow Expo Int'l is a mix of exhibits for two full days (Friday and Saturday) complemented by three days of hands-on training, classroom sessions and conferences as part of the American Towman Academy. Topics range from safety and technique skills to management procedures and systems to topical interests in new laws and licensing as well as importance of a national ratings system.
